Ilsur Metshin inspects the overhaul on Vosstaniya Street

<p> Renovation of roads has started in Kazan. This season, 160 sections of the road network will be repaired in all districts of the city. This year, one of the key sites will become Vosstaniya Street, with over 1.8 km repaired roads. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin inspected the progress of work on the section from Vasilchenko Street to Ibragimova Avenue. </p> <p> “Despite the challenging economic situation, all the infrastructure programs that were launched in Kazan last year are continuing now. We sincerely thank the federal programs, the federal and republican government. Road works have started in Kazan, 160 sections of roads in all districts of the city, including villages and small settlements, will be overhauled, – said Ilsur Metshin. – We pay attention to safety issues in all areas of work: sidewalks, fences, lighting, traffic lights – a full range of necessary measures that will increase safety on our roads. This is the comfort and improvement of our city”. </p> <p> Repair works on Vosstaniya Street – on a 1.8 km long section – from Vasilchenko St. to Ibragimova Ave.– includes the renovation of more than 63,400 square meters of the roadway and 15,400 square meters of sidewalks, as well as the installation of 11,300 meters of side stone. </p> <p> “The intersection on Vosstaniya Street is one of the most loaded traffic sites: there is a wheel track, and the sidewalks have long required repair. At the request of residents of neighboring houses, trees will be planted to increase a green area,”- the Mayor said.  </p>
